About Tassia

From a very early age I loved crafting, often creating little stitched gifts for my family.  Growing up, that passion for creating never faded, and led me to study at The Paris Academy of Fashion, in central London.  It was here that I discovered the art of tambour beading.  I enjoyed the many hours I spent learning the intricacies of this ancient technique, and eventually went on to undertake beading commissions for several bridal wear designers.

                                                                                                                                

  

Having made and embellished many bridal gowns during the years that followed, I took the plunge to start my own business, Tassles, designing and making bespoke bridal gowns for individual clients, along with creating a collection of accessories.  Years later, after starting a family, I wanted to spend more time with my two lovely boys, and so focussed solely on the hair accessory and jewellery side of my business.

 

It was during this time that I discovered the world of bead weaving, allowing me to blend my love for sewing, passion for jewellery making, and deep connection with the wedding industry.  As a result, ANGEL & PEARL was born - a unique, luxury brand for bead woven bridal jewellery, where each piece is

intricately hand stitched with love, one bead at a time.
